TSUBAME Coffee Pot

A lovely coffee pot from Glocal Standard Products. A beautiful enamel coating and a hinged cap give a good retro vibe to the pot.

Tsubame series was manufactured by a long established enamel maker in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.

Enamel is a baked glass glaze. Since it is not easily affected by metal, it does not easily smell and taste quality does not change so you can enjoy the original scent and taste of coffee. This enamel product uses stainless steel instead of general steel. Taking advantage of the rust resistant characteristics of stainless steel, enamel can be applied directly without using a rust preventive, resulting in a thin and light finish.

The reason why stainless steel enamel products are rare in the world comes from the difficulty of the construction method.
